From: Patrick SCHOULLERSubject: PCRDT/ Appesl en cours / recherche de partenariats Madame, monsieur Dans le cadre des appels en cours, nous vous signalons certaines demandes de partenariats PS-ES-2759 L'Université de Castille-La Manche (Espagne) recherche des partenaires pour un: http://www.ideal-ist.net/Countries/ES/PS-ES-2759 Projet: STREP Dans le défi: 6.5 Novel ICT Solutions for Smart Electricity Distribution Networks (Appel conjoint) Nom provisoire du projet: Distributed Energy Resource Management Application tool (DERMA) Date de clôture: 31/03/2009 Sujet: One of the major problems limiting the wider penetration of Distributed Energy Resources (DER) in today’s power systems is the lack of harmonization of grid connection requirements and the lack of compatibility of fault protection systems and metering. Differentiated definitions of grid connection requirements for the various types of generators are needed because of their different nature. Further obstacles arise from the operational engineering requirements of the networks where DER is connected. The objective assessment of DER effects on the network performance emphasizes the need for new system structures, namely inadequacy of existing dynamic simulation tools to handle large numbers of power electronic converters in the power system and of analytical tools to study planning and development of networks taking into account the stochastic nature of DER, both in steady state and under dynamic conditions. Présentation de la proposition: The DERMA project aims at developing a set of tools for the analysis and simulation of distribution networks where there is a substantial presence of Distributed Energy Resources (DER). The objective of the project consists of developing a software tool aimed at introducing new concepts and an extended framework for taking into account the peculiarities of Distributed Energy Resources (DER) operating in Low Voltage (LV) distribution systems. The term DER includes Distributed Generation (DG), Demand Response (DR) and Distributed Storage (DS). Specific Objectives: - System Characterisation - Static & dynamic modelling in LV DER sytems - Network services assessment and planning - Integration of all modules in a single tool - Validation of the tool with real data and in real conditions - Dissemination of the results to relevant stakeholders that will apply the DERMA tool Expertises demandées: Experts in ICT infrastructure Experts in distribution networks management Partenaires recherchés: ICT companies, hardware and software developers, distribution companies, universities The proposer is looking for a coordinator. Moreover it supports native grabbing of objects, providing a rich end user experience. However, while multitouch technologies are over 20 years old, they have been barely investigated in terms of software, hardware and usability. After introduction of Microsoft Surface and Apple iPhone extensively using multitouch technologies, there has been an awareness and demand with this technology as it provides means of using gestures with a nautral user interface. On the contrary to the advancements in US, Europe is lagging behind in this domain, and there's a need to start a joint research activity regarding building a common API, UI standards and a set of methods for information representation, searching, filtering and networking. Présentation de la proposition: SIMIT will create a radically new, state-of-the art technology for immersive technologies, based on multitouch tables and walls which heavily benefit from immersive methods. Project will design and implement new forms of interaction technologies in order to produce a widely recognized open standards in multitouch technology. Moreover, partners will research methods of collaborative work in classrooms, homes and working environments using multitouch technologies. Expertises demandées: Institutions or universities with multitouch technology background SMEs producing multitouch systems (hardware and API) Research centers or universities with a complete usability laboratory A hospital for testbed An elementary school for testbed Partenaires recherchés: Universities, SMEs working on multitouch technology, Research institutes, A hospital with electronic patient data, An elementary school The proposer is looking for a coordinator.
