Project aims to develop new optical fibres from new silica-based materials for
use in the Raman optical amplifiers. The new materials will allow access to

communication wavelengths using current commercial laser pump sources.
Theoretical models will be used in optimization of the material compositions

constructed from such fibres.

Partners should be divided into two categories. The category A should contain
the experts of the process plants. The category B should have experts in ICT
which concern the expertise and skill in embedded systems development. 
Category A: 

• Having knowledge about dynamical plant to be controlled, its sensor
networks,
actuators and access to them. 
• Providing data of plant dynamics behavior in real environment, sensor
networks, and actuators. 
• Have to understand the basic aims which should achieve the application to
the
plant specified of embedded control system to be designed when closing the
control loop. 

Category B: 

• Expertise and skill of feedback control systems design. 
• Skill in application of the set of control methods to dynamics plants in
particular robust control, LQG control, Kalman filters, PID control,
gain-scheduled control, distributed control, LTI/LTV/LPV systems control, LMI
synthesis, SISO/MIMO control, and so on. 
• Skill in plant identification problem solution. 
• Skill in controllers design and implementation in real time. 
• Skill in test bench creation and testing control systems on it in real
time. 
• Expertise in data acquisition and formalization. 
• Expertise and skill in application of SCADA systems. 
• Expertise and skill in MATLAB/SIMULINK controllers design and systems
numerical simulation. 
• Expertise and skill in MATLAB/SIMULINK simulation in real time. 
Partenaires recherchés:
• Institutions, organizations, and research centers which are exploiting
dynamical plants to be controlled. 
• Universities having departments of automatic control systems and ICT. 
• Institutions and research centers having experience of embedded control
systems design and implementation for large-scale complex distributed plants
under control.
